Volvo Dealers - Safety & QualityJuly 24

The first Volvo car called the Jakob was created in Sweden in 1927 in  Gothenburg, Sweden. Safety and quality were of the utmost importance when the company was formed. Today Volvo Dealers still take pride in these principals. The Volvo company then created the OV4 and PV4 models. These cars were built to withstand the harsh climate in Sweden. In 1929 Volvo created a car with a longer and wider angle called the PV651. By the spring of 1932 Volvo had produced ten thousand cars. By this time many people were asking for a more affordable Volvo car. Volvo produced and created the PV51 model in 1936.

During the second world war Volvo Dealers took a hit, because the war reduced the production of the cars. However, in 1944 Volvo created its first small car. This car was the PV444. This was one of the best selling cars through the 1950s. By 1964 Volvo had created a plant that was able to produce two hundred thousand cars a year.

The 1990s was a great decade for the Volvo company. By 1991 Volvo Dealers were proud to introduce the Volvo 850. Again, safety was one of the key components of this car. This car had a five cylinder engine. In 1996 the sleek Volvo S40 was introduced to the world. By this time Volvo still continued to have a high safety standard, but also started creating cars that were more sporty looking. The V70 wagon was introduced in 1999. This car had a ton of cargo space, but was still very stylish.

Today Volvo is still one of the leading car companies in safety and style. Anyone who wants to own one of these great cars should look for Volvo Dealers near them. This can easily be done by doing a search on the Internet. When looking for a dealer on the Internet people can also find reviews that previous car buyers write about dealers. This is a good way to see if a certain dealership is a good place to buy a Volvo from. Of course if someone that is interested in buying a Volvo has a friend or family member who already owns one they can ask them how they like the dealer they bought their Volvo from.
