Volkswagen is well known for a few of their vehicles which include the Volkswagen Camper Van, Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen Polo and who could forget the Volkswagen Beetle. These vehicles are probably the most popular with a number of new and used Volkswagen Golf, Polo, Camper vans and Beetle available on the market. As these vehicles are so popular and these vehicles stand for the Volkswagen brand it is easy to forget the other models that Volkswagen design and produce.
For example there are several new or used Volkswagen Jetta vehicles on the market which is essentially similar to a new or used VW Passat saloon but slightly smaller. Although Jeremy Clarkson thanks VW for creating a car that is the most boring car ever made I can see its practical appeals. I would prefer the Passat though as the chassis looks more exciting than the Jetta.
My favourite VW though isn’t the Golf which is the case for many VW fans but the new Scirocco. This is a sportier hatchback version than other models in the same group. The current Scirocco which was launched in 2008 is not a new model line; it was in production until 1992 before it ended. This vehicle is currently more expensive than the other hatchbacks in the range but it does look really good. I really like its slim line features which is different than the Golf.
VW is launching two new models on the market which are the Sharan and Touareg. The Sharan is basically a people carrier which caters for the family market. According to VW it can do up to 50.4 mpg although this might be ambitious for a people carrier. The MPV boasts 7 seats and lots of space in the boot. The chassis of the Sharan looks as exciting as it can be considering it is a people carrier. The Touareg is a stylish SUV that competes with the likes of the BMW X5, Range Rover and many other 4×4 vehicles produced by different car manufacturers. The interior of the Touareg is tastefully designed and there is plenty of room in the rear of the car and boot. The vehicle isn’t available in too many colours mainly black, white and silver. Both of these vehicles will be available as a business user vehicle and will also have several finance options which is necessary as the price for the Touareg will be over £30,000.
Volkswagen also makes cars particularly for businesses. For example large, small vans and pick up trucks are available. There is a wide range of vehicles that are available which is aimed at meeting everyone’s criteria. Prices per month vary depending on the size and model of the vehicle. The commercial vehicles come in a range of colours and can be leased for a certain amount of time.
