When it comes to purchasing a “new” car, it is not necessary to always get a brand new vehicle. Used vehicles sometimes come for a bargain price with the same types of amenities offered by a new vehicle. Take a look at the Chrysler vehicles for instance.
A lot of the new Chrysler vehicles are hard for people to purchase because their price tags are upwards of $30,000 or more. This is great if you can afford to finance this amount. However, a lot of people cannot afford that much. Used Chrysler can be found for less than £12,000 in some instances, and offer many of the same great features of their newer counterparts. Even at used car financing, it makes the vehicles a great buy.
Of course, if you expect a used Chrysler in the $20,000 range, you will have to accept that the vehicle will most likely have some mileage on it. But that doesn’t mean you are giving up quality. The car is still a Chrysler. For £12,000, you can still come up with a great larger sedan. Many times, you will find that your used car isn’t even recognizable as a used vehicle because the newer models haven’t changed.
Take the used Chrysler PT Cruiser for instance. If you look at a 2005 Cruiser, you will find that they are about the same as the newer version. The style of the body has not changed. The vehicle still offers cloth interiors and steel wheels and hubcaps as standard features. The transmission and the engine haven’t even changed. However, you can save $10,000 if you just buy a 2005 as opposed to a brand new one.
The Chrysler Sebring, on the other hand, has been completely changed. The body was redesigned in 2007, so the 2005 version of the used Chrysler Sebring is a little more curvy. However, this might make it worthwhile depending on your taste. You can save a lot of money by purchasing used. These sedans can be found for under £12,000 depending on mileage.
If you are more of a Chrysler 300 kind of person, a used Chrysler 300 will afford you more engine than you can buy in the newer counterparts for the same amount of money. Weigh your options: Spend the money on the newer 300 with less features, or get a faster engine, and more equipment in an older model.
