Quite contrary to popular belief, buy here pay here car lots aren’t the end-all authority of bad credit car buying. There are many other resources that are available to help people that have had a tough time with their credit.

If you have a FICO score that is below the median, or the generally acceptable number, it is not hard for you to imagine that it will be a tad challenging to obtain new car.  However, with a little help from the right agencies, you can actually get approved for a car loan that has acceptable interest rate. 

Furthermore, it is very possible for you to land a deal in which you would not have to put down any money initially.  The key is finding the right creditor to work with. 

Each banking and/or credit institution follows a different set of guidelines in approving or declining credit applications.  This means that just because you have been turned down by several others, does not necessarily mean that all creditors will.

The key to obtaining a loan with reasonable interest is to know which particular creditors will be willing to accommodate your application and approve it based on your capacity to pay i.e. monthly income and not according to your credit score.

There are online based companies that would be able to help get you a car loan with good interest and terms.  These companies have programs that aim to pair people with bad credit to the appropriate creditors so that the process of application and approval will take a lot less time and money as well.
