Whenever it comes to luxury sports cars, there a few names that always stand out above the rest. Aston Martin has always been one of these household names that everyone recognizes. Ever since its inception into the car industry in 1913, it has done nothing but produce quality vehicles that everyone wants to own.
The name Aston Martin is one that really does not need any introduction. Whether someone knows all there is to know about cars, or if they know almost nothing, everyone pays attention when they hear about this company. They have always stood for the best skilled craftsmen making only the finest sports cars. They are by far the best sports car company in all of England, and take pride in being one of the most sought after vehicles in the world. The magnificent design and outstanding design combined with the phenomenal performance of all of their cars makes Aston Martin a company that everyone wants to buy a car from.
Being independently owned up until 1994, Aston Martin was bought out by the Ford Motor Company, one of, if not the best automobile industries in the United States. This joint venture helped the company grow to new heights and now the whole world recognizes how great their line of cars really is. In 2007, the Ford Motor Company sold its controlling share of Aston Martin for £49 million by another joint venture company. However, Ford retained a $77 million stake in the company, now valuing at $925 million. Over the past couple of years with Ford and the new company owners, Aston Martin has done nothing but grow, and continues to grow to this day. Although the line of cars is a little expensive and can cost owners a good chunk of change, you can bet that you are paying for one of the best sports cars on the market today. It is no telling how much Aston Martin can grow if they keep building quality and reliable vehicles. They take pride in being one of the best in the car industry, and it shows in every automobile that leaves their factories.
