Car Dealers - Mazda MX-5March 29

Once at the top of its game, the Mazda MX-5 has somehow reduced itself to become the now sneeringly branded ‘hairdressers car’. This motor still has a way to go before it proves itself butch enough for the multitude of alloy snobs out there, but we’d like to know why.

Perhaps spoilt with the indulgent array of sporties on the market, the Mazda is often left sat in the dust these days. But fun, flirty and stylish – what’s not to covet? Like a rocket, this Mazda will shoot from John O’Groats to Lands swifter than some of the best road guzzlers out there. Smooth handling and a boisterous engine make it a slap in the face when it comes to performance, as the drive is a gentle purr at top speeds, and with ten times the control of a used Audi.

It doesn’t seem like Mazda are doing a great deal to vamp up the original features: new headlights, some toned down chrome, and a slight cut on emissions, there’s not much sacrificing going on. Having said that, it’s never been an ugly car, and overall, we’re pleased with the quality. This is a nice solid car you won’t be too scared to lean on or take to the car wash.

Engineered into a slick, fluid body, the new Mazda’s bullet-like appearance is enough to pierce your will power and make you agree that this IS a nice car. Latest models have a fresher appearance and are roomier than ever so that males of the world can no longer blame height restrictions. Leg room won’t even reach the ‘cramped’ category, and the power folding hard-top means you won’t even have to pull over in the frequent British downpours (and so what if that’s 360 days a year?)

One of the more accommodating sports cars, you’ll feel comfortable in this cruiser without predicting two broken legs. Some luxury cabin features and a range of hot new colours keep things optimistic, black being one of our favourites. Slightly tight if you’re travelling for two, but what more can you expect from a convertible? If you’re thinking about making a purchase, do your homework first, as some of the cheaper models are somewhat lacking on gadgets. More recent models however are still a fairy snippy price for something so sporty looking, and needn’t break the bank with flimsy extras. Having said that, the Bose stereo unit makes an extra cool drive.

Not the eighth wonder of the world, perhaps, but certainly better than a used Audi. We think it’s time Mazda bullies came clean and saw the classic motor for what it really is; original sports quality. Perhaps there’s more persuading to be done, but if you don’t believe us, take a test drive and see. Smooth, don’t you think? Stop being a victim of conformity and dish out your savings.

Car Dealers - Independent Or Chain?March 28

Some people get very attached the cars, so when the time comes to replace it with something new, the experience can be somewhat testing. Other motorists just couldn’t care less. However you feel towards the prospect of buying a new or a used car, you can be certain that car dealers out there will be more than willing to adapt the way they work to suit your needs. After all, they sell cars every day, so one would honestly expect them to right?

If it’s a used car you’re after, the doors open to you are numerous and confusing. You can buy a used car from practically anywhere – official car dealers, franchise car dealers, independent car dealers, online websites, down random side streets or even in a field. Now, whilst buying cars on a website or from an advert in the paper might be the cheapest way about things, I wouldn’t honestly suggest it unless you really know what it is you’re looking for, otherwise you may end up with a very nasty surprise. So that leaves buying your used car from a car dealers – a wise move, as at least there are other cars on the forecourt with which to compare your own. But each type of car dealership – official, franchise or independent – carry their own advantages and disadvantages. It’s up to you to weigh up the pros and the cons and see what’s best to suit your needs and your budget.

Official car dealers often carry the highest prices, but you can be guaranteed that the ‘Approved’ used car you buy will be of nearly new quality. Furthermore, the type of services included such as warranties or road tax could be comprehensive. Whilst you’re at the official car dealers, you might want to take a look inside the showroom and see what the car dealers can do for you in the way of a new car. New cars aren’t always more expensive. Quite the contrary, with a little bit of haggling, you might be able to afford more than you think.

Franchise car dealers are a little like official car dealers in that they may operate under a specific manufacturer’s badge, but the number and variety of used cars they’ll stock will be greater and wider. This is always something to bear in mind when wandering around and looking at the cars on offer – the prices may look good, but there’s always a drop in price for a reason! This of course doesn’t mean to say that there isn’t a deal to be struck. Again, do a little bit of haggling and you might bag a bargain you can be thoroughly pleased with.

Independent car dealers are the final and the most varied form of car dealers. Whilst some may be vast and professional, others may operate in an abandoned car park. All I can say is always use your intuition. There’s always a bargain to be found somewhere, but if something looks too good to be true, then it probably isn’t!

Used Volvo DiscoveryMarch 27

If the economy is getting you down and you need a new car but do not know where to turn, try checking out the Internet deals on Used Volvo vehicles.    You never know when these great deals will disappear, so now is the time to take a look.  You already know that Volvo is a reputable name in the automobile manufacturing industry and that they make the safest autos on the road today.  Whether or not you can afford a new Volvo should not be a factor in deciding to check out and/or buy a used one since they are such a good value.  There is certainly nothing wrong with saving your money these days.
Consider these 2 big advantages when making your decision on buying a Volvo. You simply cannot dispute the price difference between the used and new Volvos.  The late model Volvos (2007 to 2009) are not much different feature wise than the 2010 models.  There will be a few variations, but you must decide if you want to pay the price for these variations.

Upgraded Options Packages:
Buying a new Volvo means starting from scratch with standard options and building your own extra upgraded options package.  This option adds up quickly when you are paying attention to price.  Buying a Used Volvo means you can pretty much choose one with standard or upgraded options without having to tack these features on to the price.  The price on the used models is already set with possible upgraded features included.

The model and colour you choose is completely up to you.  It is also up to you whether you want to save your money for something like a long vacation instead of adding on upgraded options on a new car.  It just makes sense to take advantage of the best value by buying a Used Volvo that has what you want already on it.  Let the Internet be your guide to buying a Volvo in the used section.  You can save time by setting up your test drive online and discovering the true value of choosing a Used Volvo instead of a new one.

Used BMW MaintenanceMarch 24

You know you want to purchase a BMW, but afraid of the price-tag a new one can produce. Research Used BMW’s and enjoy the luxury of owning one, at half the price. Once you have decided which model is right for you, make sure to follow a few tips to buying a used car, so you can get the best BMW for your money.

The first thing you want to do is compare prices of Used BMW models. Understanding which price range your in can stop you from buying a lemon.  If you find the car you want for well under the medium price for that used car, you might want to be careful and check for something being wrong. Pull a report on the car and check for accidents, and ask the owner or dealership about if its had its monthly and yearly maintenance.

If you find one with a reasonable price range that has been taken care of, the next step is to inspect it.  Don’t be afraid to walk around the car, check for dents and scratches in the body.  If you find a few small ones, don’t worry those can be handled at a body shop, Next, open the trunk and check for the tool box. Used BMW models come with a remoulded tool box that fits into the trunk. Next, sit inside and take a look at the wear and tear of the interior and carpet. If all looks good, its time to move on

Try turning it on and listen to the sound it makes.  If you hear any clicking, tapping or loud whistling sounds, you might want to consider having it looked at before purchasing it.  If all sounds good, turn the radio on and have a listen to make sure your speakers are working.  Then, turn the air and heater on to make sure both work with out noise or smell. If everything works when turned on, ask to go on a test drive so you can feel how it handles when driving. Once you have decided its perfect for you, don’t forget to haggle on the price!

Once you have decided on a price and brought it home, its time to call your insurance dealer and make sure tags are up to date.  If you get all that out of the way, go for long relaxing drive, you have earned the right to enjoy your new Used BMW, and there is no harm in showing it off to all the neighbours as well.

Bad Credit Car LoanMarch 24

At one point in your life, you will be in the market for a new, or different car.  This is the point in which you may want to shop for a Car Loan online.  By shopping online, you will save money.  If you were to have the dealer shop for you, they may just throw you in the first one that they can find.  Whether it fits your needs or not.  Depending on your credit, you may need a Bad Credit Car Loan.  Everyone is different in this situation.

Sometimes, you may not have good, or bad credit, you may just have no credit.  How this happens is if you are a young kid, fresh out of high school, who has never purchased anything major.  If this were the case, you may be asked to provide a co signer.  A co signer is someone who is also on your loan, who is willing to assume payments, should you not be able to pay it back.  A nyone can co sign on your Car Loan, even if it is a Bad Credit Car Loan.  Your parents, a brother or sister, or even a good friend all can be a co signer.  They do however have to have an acceptable credit score in order to co sign.

You will want to watch out when you see signs that tell you you are pre approved.  This usually means nothing if a good deal is what you are after.  Pre approved simply means that if you have a job, and the amount of down payment that you are asking for, you can get a Car Loan.  What they do not tell you is that the interest rate is higher, if your credit score is lower.  If you happen to be a first time loan applicant, it may be wise to take a more experienced person with you to go Bad Credit Car Loan shopping.

Do not to give in to the pressure that the salesmen are going to put on your shoulders when you are Car Loan Shopping.  They really know how to do this, and they usually do not care what your circumstance is, or whether you can afford that car or not.  Their main objective is to get that car off of their car lot, so they can make room for another.  Hopefully, the words you have read here today will help you when you make your your next car buying experience.

Which Tarp System Fits Your Needs?March 23

Just as we are told that only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys,  the difference between truck tarping systems is the type and quality of the system you choose. From Tonka trucks to dump trucks and big rigs they all need to cover and protect the cargo they haul.  A good quality truck tarp is the answer.  The only question is; which type is right for your job and container?  Today we are going to discuss two different types; manual and automatic arm systems and front to back cable systems.

An arm system uses a roller mechanism to pull the tarp into its housing. With a manual arm system you will manually pull the tarp over your load using a guide or ropes and secure the truck tarp in place.  Manual systems work well if your trailer is 22 feet or less. Anything more than 22 feet up to forty feet it is best recommended to utilize the automatic arm system.  The automatic system is electric and powers the tarp back into the housing.  The term automatic is simply as easy as flipping a switch.  This is especially helpful if you have a peak load where the manual method can be somewhat cumbersome.  The automatic arm lifts the tarp up and over the load.

Front to back cable systems are a great tarping method for most containers.  Especially for larger containers and those with open tops.  Where the arm system uses ropes and roller methods the cable system uses one or two cables to open and close the truck tarp. Bows are inserted into pockets in the tarp and the cable drives the bows. Since the cable tarps don’t have to be tied down there is never a worry about flapping so they last longer than arm systems.  Cable systems come with either manual hand cranks or electric drives.  When looking at cable systems consider the difference between the twin cable top slider and the single cable top slider.  The twin cable top slider is about the most economical cable system on the market.  A single cable slider has the most improved design in over twenty years.  Having just one continuous cable eliminates the possibility of jamming.

Your choice of  systems is determined by your personal preference and budget.  Choose from manual or automatic, arm system or cable. Both systems produce a quality truck tarp.  Many are found with a simple click of your mouse on the Internet.  Happy hauling!

Car Dealers Used CarsMarch 23

Many people have come to dread the whole car buying experience.  Too often they are greeted by pushy sales people who don’t seem willing to compromise or truly be interested in helping you get a car that will suit your best interests.  It doesn’t have to be that way.  There are a lot of good car dealers out there that have good sales people who truly try to satisfy their individual customers and their needs.  This is especially important so you don’t walk out of there with a car way too big or expensive for your needs.  If this happens to you, you will inevitably end up with buyer’s remorse when the monthly payments come around.

If you simply want a car to get you back and forth to work every day, and you have no one else in your family, try to stick with a practical and reliable vehicle without going too big or flashy unless you have the money to spend.  You should go to some car dealers that have a wide selection of makes and models so you can get a feel for what you really want.  There are times when going to a smaller dealership makes sense, but if you don’t yet know what exactly you’re looking for, it is probably best to go to a larger dealership.  Test drive several different cars before selecting so you make sure you get just what you want.

If you are on a tighter budget, buying a used car might be a viable option for you.  Many car dealers offer great deals and a wide variety on used cars.  Again, going to a larger dealership would help so you could select from an assortment of different vehicles.  Depending on the dealership, you might be able to get a great deal on a used car that doesn’t even have that many miles on it.  At any time if you aren’t comfortable with the sales person assigned to you, it isn’t a bad thing to ask for someone else.  You have to be comfortable since you are the one buying the car.

The time of year you buy can also make a big difference in the kind of deals you get.  At the beginning of a new year when all the new cars are being pushed, you might be able to get a better deal on the previous year’s model since the car dealers will want to get them off their lot in favor of the new ones.  Other times, there might be some government programs where you can get a great deal.  So unless you are in a terrible hurry, try to wait until you see some great offers so you can make sure you’re getting the most for your money.

Used Chrysler Grand VoyagerMarch 22

If you are looking to buy a Used Chrysler then you are more than likely aware of all the choices that you have to choose from.  There are many different kinds of Chryslers to choose from.  There are cars, SUVs, Vans, etc.  When deciding on which kind of vehicle you want, you should think about all the things you are going to be using that vehicle for.  This will help you determine what kind of vehicle will be best suited for you.

If you are looking to buy a Used Chrysler van, then the Chrysler Grand Voyager is something you should look at.  This van has a lot of great features.  The fan comes with a 2.8 litre engine.  This engine will give you great fuel mileage in comparison to other vans, and that could save you money over the long run.  This van also has five doors.  The five doors is great for many different purposes.  If you want to use the van to move things then the doors will allow you to more easily put things inside the van.  This could also make it easier to move bigger objects.

You may be surprised to know that this van can come with a diesel engine.  This can really give you some great fuel mileage.  The fuel mileage that this Used Chrysler Grand Voyager is expected to ge is around twenty-nine miles per gallon.  That is really good fuel mileage for a van, and you’ll find it quite hard to find a van that can beat that.

Another main feature that you will want to look at when possibly buying a Used Chrysler Grand Voyager is the transmission.  A manual transmission has many benefits.  A manual transmission can give you greater fuel mileage, because you can control when your car shifts.  Controlling when your vehicle shifts is also another advantage, and if you like that then you should get a manual transmission.  An automatic transmission simply makes everything easier.  You don’t have to worry about shifting, pushing in the clutch, etc.  You will have to weigh the pros and cons to determine which transmission you want.

Car Dealers - Ford LondonMarch 21

When looking to buy a new car you can find yourself being very overwhelmed by all the choices that you are going to have to make.  You have to decide which features and benefits you are looking for the most in a car.  Is there a particular make that you trust over the other makes?  If so, then you will be able to narrow your search down to a few different Car Dealers.  This will help you get started with your search for a car.

Lets say that you want to buy a Ford London vehicle.  Then you can look at all the Car Dealers that sell Ford vehicles.  Ford Ashford, Ford Canterbury, Ford Croydon, Ford Thanet, and Ford Wimbledon are some dealerships you may want to look at.  One thing you might want to do is look at each dealership’s web site.  Their web site will usually show their inventory, and you can search through their cars in the comfort of your own home.  Look at each dealership, the cars they offer, and if you find a few that you like then write them down as you go.

When you have found a couple cars among a few Car Dealers then you should call each dealership to see if they have that car in stock.  Sometimes the web sites will not have the most up to date information, and you want to make sure that the car you want to look at is at the dealership before making the trip.  Once you have all the information, and you know which cars are still available, then it is time to visit the dealers and see the cars in person.

Take the cars for a test drive, and make sure that the car has all the features and benefits that you are looking for in a vehicle.  Write down how you felt about each vehicle when you visited, and after you have went through each car on your list then it is time to figure out which car is the one that you want.  After that, go down to the dealership and start negotiating for a good price.  Car Dealers always expect to negotiate, and you should take advantage of that.
